Privacy notice

Who we are

Pocket Rockets Berkshire provides biohazard, trauma and specialist cleaning across Berkshire and the Thames Valley, as part of the Pocket Rockets network. This notice explains how we use personal information through this website and when you contact us.

What we collect

• When you send us a message through this website, phone or email us: your name, contact details and what you tell us about the work you need.
• If we carry out work for you: the details we need to arrange it, carry it out and invoice for it, such as the address of the property.
• When you visit this website: technical details such as your IP address and browser, which our servers record to keep the site secure and working.
• If you accept analytics cookies: anonymous information about how the site is used, so we can improve it.

Our work often follows a bereavement, an illness or another difficult event. Please only tell us what we need to understand and quote for the job. We use anything sensitive you share only to plan and carry out that work, and we treat it in confidence.

How we use it, and why

• To reply to your enquiry and give you a quote: our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us, and the steps you ask us to take before an agreement.
• To arrange, carry out and invoice the work: to perform our agreement with you.
• To keep the records we are required to keep, such as accounts: our legal obligations.
• To understand how the website is used: only with your consent, given through the cookie banner.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of cookies that it needs to work. Analytics cookies are only set if you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner; choosing “Decline” keeps them off. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Who we share it with

We use trusted suppliers to host this website and to send and receive our email, and they handle information only on our instructions. The website is hosted in the UK and the European Union. We share information with others only where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to deal with what you asked, and job and financial records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it or object to our using it. To do any of these, contact us:
